FALL STOKE WINTER

SKI SEASON PREP

Well, it’s that time of year where…

  • I switch my local forecast observations from what is happening in town to what is happening in the mountains. I usually have multiple tabs on my browser open (e.g. NOAA, snowforecast.com, webcams from the ski hill and mountain passes, etc.) in hopes to ascertain where the snow will stack up enough to find first turns.
  • Fitness is definitely in focus… long aerobic runs, leg blasters, brushing my teeth in wall sit formation. 🙂
  • My family tries on their gear to see if it fits, make notes for the ski swap, and then we shred the bottom six steps of our stairs leading to the second floor of our house.

What are you up to when it comes to prepping?

SKIING THE STAIRS REEL

Just a casual afternoon as we anticipate cooler temps and hope for snowy slopes. Don’t worry the 40yr old carpet was not harmed. 😉

LEAF SKIING

As a PNW person I rarely want to live somewhere else, but this leaf skiing segment has me pondering where the closest option to sneak in turns like this…

WHY DO YOU RISE?

This definitely strikes a chord. Can’t wait to connect with my BC Ski friends on the up track at early-thirty.

Much love BC Ski Friends,
